BUSINESS / ENERGY MISSION to UZBEKISTAN and AZERBAIJAN

CECC-Alberta Chapter, in partnership with the Government of Alberta, is pleased to announce a business mission to Uzbekistan, organized around the major Uzbekistan International Energy Show - OGU and Azerbaijan, where we will organize B2B meetings and establish new business ties and exchange technical and professional information with public and private local entities.

This CECC business/energy mission is arranged in collaboration with both the Embassy of Canada to Uzbekistan and the Embassy of Canada to Azerbaijan as well the local CECC Chapter in Uzbekistan.

CECC gratefully acknowledges the support of the Government of Alberta (Ministry of  Trade, Immigration and Multiculturalism) in the undertaking of this Mission.

WHEN: May 15th to 24th, 2023

The Mission Offers 3 ways of participating directly and 1 way indirectly:

A/ Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan:

• Exhibiting in OGU as part of CECC/Canada Pavilion (see floorplan)
• Make a presentation at the Canada Seminars in both Tashkent and Baku
• Networking opportunity at the Canada Receptions in both Tashkent and Baku
• Participate in tailored B2B meetings with both public and private Uzbek and Azerbaijani entities respectively
• Take advantage of visiting some historic Uzbek and Azerbaijan cultural sites

• Possible site visits as can be arranged or requested

B/ Uzbekistan ONLY

INDIRECT  participation is also available for the companies who are not able to join the Mission in-person. This includes:

• Display of company’s marketing materials at the CECC OGU Pavilion
• Collecting market feedback and contacts from Uzbek and Azeri companies interested in cooperation (special market response forms will be filled for each potential partner)
• Presentation of company’s information and distribution of promo materials at the official networking events 
• Establishing direct connections with potential buyers and clients
• All collected information will be provided to the participants after the mission along with the follow-up assistance.
