COVID-19 in Russia: Russia Restricts Entry Due to New COVID Variant

Dear CERBA Members and Partners,

According to the information kindly provided by CERBA Corporate Member – Intermark Relocation, please be informed that the governmental Operational staff for the prevention of importing and spreading of the new coronavirus infection has decided to restrict entry into the Russian Federation from November 28, 2021 for foreign citizens residing in the territory of South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar, Eswatini, Tanzania and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and foreign citizens staying in these territories during the last 10 days.

Air traffic with Tanzania suspended until February 1, 2021.

In addition there will be organized express COVID testing of Russian citizens arriving from South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Madagascar, Eswatini, Tanzania and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the People's Republic of China Republics, Israel, the UK, and foreign nationals arriving from the People's Republic of China, Israel, the UK.
