COVID-19 in Russia: Russia Resumes Flights to 5 More Countries

According to the information kindly provided by CERBA Corporate Member – Intermark Relocation, please be informed that the governmental Operational staff for the prevention of importing and spreading of the new coronavirus infection has decided to resume air traffic with Malta, Mexico, Iceland, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia.

The flights will resume effective 25 May 2021.

What are the changes?

The number of countries which have reestablished flights with Russia has reached 35:

- Cuba

Who is affected?

Russian and foreign citizens who travel from Russia to the listed countries or vice versa.

Intermark comments

We expect that these countries will also be included in the list of countries exempted from entry restrictions for citizens and permanent residents who travel by direct flights from such countries. However, the relevant governmental decree has not been published yet.
